Yes You have concept of default tablespace in db2 also. By default all the objects saved my any user are saved in USERSPACE1. If you want to change the default tabspace.
1 Revoke use of USERSPACE1 from user
DB2 REVOKE USE OF TABLESPACE USERSPACE1 FROM USER <user>
2 Grant USE OF TABLESPACE <urtablespace> to user <user>
