see whats in your db2nodes.cfg file (in your instance directory) It should
have




0 nodename nodename 0 <------ where nodename is the name of your
machine

error in the db2nodes.cfrg file










I downloaded WR21342 and install DB2 ESE on Windows XP without uninstall
the
previous version .

After the installation finished, I am not able to start db2 instance and
get the following error:
SQL6031N error in the db2nodes.cfg file at line number "1", reason code
"10".

If I launch the control center I got
"CLI0647E Error allocating DB2 environment handle, rc=-1".
Although it says information only, no action required,
there is nothing coming up.

Any help will be appreciaed
