Have you set the HP-UX kernel parameters correctly for DB2 Installation? if not look at the DB2 Quick Beginnings guide for setting the OS Kernel Parameters.

I am getting the following error while creating an instance on HP 11.23. The
error help does not say much. Can anyone help me out.
