Thanks for answering.

The ideal thing would be a facility similar to an Oracle database link
between DB2 and Oracle.
So from DB2 I can query/insert an Oracle table.

If it would handle an insert/delete/update in an Oracle and in a DB2 table
in the same transaction that would be perfect.

Does Information integrator do that ?

Your best bet is to use Data Joiner. It's an IBM product for
multiplatform heterogeneous database environment and must be purchased
separately.
