Do you have all the neccessary stored procedures and stored procedure WLM
address space
running on MVS?
version 8 requires 13 new stored procedures and a new WLM managed address
space. You may want to
check with your MVS db2 people.
the other possibility is that you are using the MS provider rather than a
db2 provider, but I think its the former.

DB2 Connect with Access Issue
Hello everyone,
I am trying to use MS ACCESS using ODBC (via DB2 Connect 8.1.4.A) to
connect to our DB2 OS390 databases. Here is the error I'm receiving:
[IBM] [CLI Driver] [DB2] SQL0440N No Authorized Routine Named "SQLTABLES"
of type "*" having compatible arguments was found. SQLSTATE=42884.
Anyone seen this or have any ideas?
