We are using LDAP as OS(Solaris) authentication. Without explicit give
password(passwd) on the OS level, how can I let DB2 knows it is using
LDAP?
Anyone who can help me out of this?
Thanks

You need to define the userid & password at the operating system level,
DB2 relies on the OS to authenticate users. However, you can grant
privileges before or after the userid has been created.
