This is new in version 8. Now when you do a snapshot for locks, you see
much more information. If it seems to be using
excessive cpu. (it shouldnt)
do a db2 "set event monitor DB2DETAILDEADLOCK state 0"

DB2DETAILDEADLOCK
When I executed the following command
ps -ef | grep "db2"
I got the following
db2inst2 77906 86890 0 08:35:41 - 0:00 db2event
(DB2DETAILDEADLOCK) 0
My DB2 Server is slow. I am working on db2udb8.1 on AIX
Can anyone clarify me what is it about?
Thanks in advance.
