Yes, we have the same thing on AIX

V7 installs to /usr/lpp/db2_07_01 and V8 installs to /usr/opt/db2_08_01

Version 7 and 8 Client on Unix










Does anyone know if I can install both the version 7 and version 8 DB2
client on a Unix box? I need to access a version 7 instance from a box
that
only has version 8 on it now. Can I install the version 7 client without
breaking the version 8 instance?
