You can only specify the code page at db creation time.
To change you will have to export data, drop/recreate with new code page
and then import - you cannot use backup/restore since the backup image and
the database will have different code pages.

Code Page Setting
We are AIX 5.2 DB2 8.1
I have found one of my database created with the code page set for Windows
2000, even though it is actually running on the AIX. (should be 819 I
think)
Can you tell me how/where this change may be made:
1. Can I set a configuration parm to correct this?
2. During the create of the database, how is code page specified?
Following is a paste:
Database configuration release level = 0x0a00
Database release level = 0x0a00
Database territory = US
Database code page = 1252
Database code set = IBM-1252
Database country/region code = 1
Regards
Richard
