To: [Email Address Removed] db2 agents take too much memory and not release the memory
after becoming idle
We run DB2 udb v 8.1 on HP-UX 11.11. It seems like each db2 agent is grabbing some amount of memory and even the agent becomes idle, it is still holding the same amount of memory. In our case, the memory used by each db2agent is growing as the week progress and we have to stop the instance after a while to get the memory back to the system.
What paramter can I set so that the db2agent releases the memory once the process is completed.
