Yes, we went to IBM.
The IBM building is one of the nicest in Montreal (Quebec, Canada).

Hi Dave,

A good book is DB2: The Complete Reference (Complete Reference Series `)
by Roman B. Melnyk, Paul C. Zikopoulos.

As far as classes go, I recommend the Fast Path to DB2 UDB for
Experienced Relational DBAs. There is a three and a five day version.
Opt for the 4 day version. They cover more and you should get a couple
more manuals. I only attended the three day course. It was good but
I wanted/needed the material covered in the additional two days.

HTH,

administration class that I can go to? I see on the IBM site that they have
some but am not sure what admin classes are worth going to. Would you also
recommend that I take an AS400 class also? I am not very familiar with the
AS400. ALso, any good books on DB2 database administration that anyone can
point me to.
