And for good measure that the filesystem is 'large file enabled'.

Also make sure that the max file size for the instance owner has not
been exceeded (ulimit command).

Have your unix Admins increasing the file system, where the DB resides,
on the unix side via "chfs" cmd.

Subject: SYSCATSPACE Tablespace is full

Hi everyone,

We have been having some problems with our DB2 (7.2) database over the
last couple weeks. Upon some investigation, I am seeing errors like
this in the db2diag.log file:

2005-04-27-07.56.22.590000 Instance:DB2 Node:000
PID:1808(db2syscs.exe) TID:2632 Appid:7F000001.310D.050427134225
lob_manager sqldx_lob_create Probe:50 Database:OWSH7333
DIA9999E An internal error occurred. Report the following error code :
"0xFFFFD121".

Looking in the Control Center for this database, it looks like I have
several databases that are 100% full:
- TEMP32K
- TEMP4K
- SYSCATSPACE
- USERSPACE1

These are all System Managed Tablespaces. I am assuming that this is
what is causing the errors I am seeing. However, I can't find a way to
extend these tablespaces, to increase the size so that they are not 100%
full. It appears that you can only extend Database-Managed tablespaces.

Can anyone enlighten a new DB2 Admin??

Thanks,
Brad Blake
