AM RE: How do I alter column/field
size of a table
Hi,
To increase the size you need to drop the table and recreate it again with
the new field size...
there is no direct way to do it unless the column you wish to modify is a
var char.
however before you drop the table...unload the data and after creating the
new table..,load the data...by modifying the syspunch dataset...
correct me if I am wrong
Cheers,
Santosh.
