Hi Experts,

I installed the FixPack 8 on DB2 Aix version 8.1, yesterday. It
installed successfully but now we are not able to connect to the
database.

When i try to connect I get error :

SQL1031N The database directory cannot be found on the indicated file
system.
SQLSTATE=58031

I tried the Command 'List active Databases' . There I got error :

db2 => list active databases
SQL1032N No start database manager command was issued. SQLSTATE=57019

Then tried starting db2instance but got the following error :

db2 => db2start
exec(): 0509-036 Cannot load program
/dnbusr1/db2inst1/sqllib/adm/db2star2 beca
se of the following errors:
0509-130 Symbol resolution failed for db2star2 because:
0509-136 Symbol sqle_calc_krcbheap_bytes__FP9sqlf_kcfd (number
46) is
not exported from
dependent module
/usr/opt/db2_08_01/lib/libdb2e.a(shr.o).
0509-136 Symbol sqlogmblk (number 104) is not exported from
dependent module
/usr/opt/db2_08_01/lib/libdb2e.a(shr.o).
0509-136 Symbol sqlogmpol2 (number 105) is not exported from
dependent module
/usr/opt/db2_08_01/lib/libdb2e.a(shr.o).
0509-192 Examine .loader section symbols with the
'dump -Tv' command.
