Are you sure? We do backup our windows system using TSM everyday. They
call it System Object.
Thanks and best regards,

System Backups
Hi:
I am working on DB2 UDB v8.1.2. I need to do a system backup on
Windows server 2003 and Windows 2000 server and I just learned that
Tivoli storage server does not support system backups on Windows. I am
thinking on doing the system backups with the Windows backup
application. What can you tell me about it? Is it good? Any drawbacks?
Any recommendations? Someone told me that to use it , it will have to be
done offline. I have tried it in a separate computer and it works
online.
Any feedback will be appreciated.
Thanks
Sam
