Tablespace backup in db2 udb 8.1 on AIX 5.2



I have tried taking tablespace backup which has not been possible after
several attempts and always gives the error that one or more tablespaces
in the backup image are either inaccessible or the names of the
tablespaces specified are invalid. In order to overcome this error I
even tried taking a redirect restore but again the same error was
encountered.



Any kind of suggestion shall be appreciated.
