Subject: Restoring online backup

Hi all,

Am unable to restore an online backup. Here the steps done:

1. created a database and tables in it
2. set the userexit, logretain and trackmod ON
3. took an offline backup (backup db sample)
4. took an online backup (backup db sample online)
5. dropped the database (drop db sample)
6. restored the online backup version (restore db sample taken at
timestamp)
7. rollforward db sample to end of logs and complete (since the
database goes into rollforward pending state)

I get the following error after executing step 7:

SQL4970N Roll-forward recovery on database "SANDB1" cannot reach the

specified stop point (end-of-log or point-in-time) because of missing
log

file(s) on node(s) "0".

Is there any way out of this or any other alternative? Any suggestions
are appreciated.

Thanks,

Sandeep.
