You probably have the server entry messed up. Check to make sure that the
server entry is either the numeric from /etc/services or the svcename
in the instance. If you have an entry in your etc/services it should match
up the servers entries.

DB2 Client connection error










When I try to connect to the databases through DB2 client configuration
assistant, I am getting the following error:

CLI connection failed.
Communicaltion Protocol being used: TCP/IP
Communication API being used: SOCKETS
Location where the error was detected: ""
Communication function detecting the error: "convert"
Protocol Specific error code "10061"
