Yes indeed. You need to do some definitions on the mainframe, some binds
to the unix location and you should be good to go.
There is a redbook: My Mother Thinks I am a DBA that outlines all the
details.

Is possible to access a db2 database located on a unix server from an MVS
server?
(the opposite of DB2 connect)
