if you need to recreate the tables someplace else, then the .ixf is the
one, otherwise delimited could be chosen for use with a user written
application because
its easily read and modified.

which type of file extension
available to me?

Dear all,
I want to put lots of export....select stmt in one file, which will
redirect to db2 by unix shell script.
Which file extension is suitable for my task?
e.g: ddl,sql,bdl...etc.

Thanks in advance
Regards,
John
