If it is tcpip
catalog tcpip node <node name> remote <server name or ip> server <port or service name>
catalog database <dbname> as <alias> at node <above node name>
catalog (system or user) odbc data source <alias from above>
terminate
connect to <alias name> user <user name> using <password>
