Mary, to access DB2 V6.1 on Z/OS you will need an instance of DB2 or DB2
Connect installed on a unix or Windows server. You define the mainframe
to the DB2 Connect instance and then you use the ODBC client server to
connect to the DB2 instance.

Gurus,
I am new in db2 would you mind to help me to create an odbc
connection on db2. I tried to do one, but I encountered the following
error code: [IBM][CLI Driver] SQL30061N The database alias or database or
databases name XXXXXX" was not found at the remote node SQLSTATE=08004
Z/OS.
