The collection of each package is stored in the DB2 Catalog in the
SYSIBM.SYSPACKAGE table in the COLLID column. Same column name is also in
the SYSIBM.SYSPACKLIST for the packages included in a plan and
SYSIBM.SYSPACKSTMT for the SQL statements in each package.

If you are asking instead, which collection of several known to use in which
circumstance, then the best approach is to consult your application or
database documentation, or as a last result talk to the DBA, application
developer or designer who built the application with multiple collections
(it had better be documented somewhere or else you'll have to walk through
the programs to figure things out).
