Hi Gurus,

After applying fixpak 8 on an AIX 5.2 box, I don't get db2ilist and
db2iupdt working properly.

Here is the output:

Db2ilist : does not return anything despite presence of instances.
db2iupdt -k <instance_name > returns:

# ./db2iupdt -k inst1
Could not load program /usr/opt/db2_08_01/instance/db2icknm:
Dependent module /usr/opt/db2_08_01/lib/libdb2.a(shr.o) could
not be loaded.
File /usr/opt/db2_08_01/lib/libdb2.a is not an
archive or the file could not be read properly.
Error was: I/O error
DBI1069E Unexpected error. Function = get_instance, Return code =
255.
