You could SUBSTR the numeric portion of that column, cast it into DECIMAL
and order by that column.

Hi All,
I have a "user_number" column which contains the following values A1,
A2, A3.....A10, A11....
When i use order by on this column, the result is as follows:
A1, A10, A11,... A2,....., A3.....
but i the desired result is:
A1, A2, A3,.... A10, A11...
What should I do to achieve this result?
