Yes. And if you are at version 8.2, I would suggest you use the
"include logs" option with your online backups. It is good insurance
that even if you "misplace" your archive log files, you can at least
recover your database to the full online backup because that image will
include any log information needed for a recovery to the point-in-time
of the full backup.

Yes --

db2 backup db <dbname> to <a directory> compress

If you are backing up to disk and you don't specify a location, DB2 will
place the image within the instance home directory. Using the above,
specify a directory that is on a filesystem with enough space. In the
syntax above, I included the v8 "compress" option to save space.
Compression is normally about 30% the size of the database.

DB2 filesystem is 99% full. IS there any command to take backup of this
db to some other place?
