You need to make sure that DDF is configured and active on the server
side...
There should be a redbook on UDB connectivity using DRDA on IBM's site !

I downloaded the free version of DB2 Connect from IBM's site to try to
test it. I think I have everything configured correctly on the Client
side. What all needs to be changed or put in place on the server side?
