Hello all-



I am struggling terribly with this (short of opening a ticket with IBM).
I'm troubleshooting why my online backups intermittently fail because
DB2 Backup cannot copy the required log it needs to include in the
backup image. We are DB2 UDB 8.2 on AIX 5.2. Archive logging turned on
via LOGARCHMETH2 value. We do online backups to tape via Harbor and
also use the "include logs" option in backup command. The admin log and
diag log tell me no more than "log Sxxxxxxx.LOG could not be copied" and
the backup aborts. Anyone ever see this or have any ideas as to what is
going on? At this point I can't tell if it is vendor load library or
DB2...Another very strange occurrence is...I thought that archived logs
are kept in the primary log path as well as in the LOGARCHMETH2
configuration parameter?



Any assistance and/or advice is greatly appreciated.
