RE: F1, F1 - The scheduler is not running since last night

Thank you Otfrid and Andersen.

It means there is a problem in schedular (i.e.Task Center), means we can't
rely on Task Center or to be always ready to face the same problem again.

is there any other option to overcome db2admin stop and db2admin start??

thanks and regards,
Jitendra

Hi Jitendra.

Try

db2admin stop
db2admin start

We had the same problems and created a OS-Task that contains the DB2 Admin
stop and start commands and is executed once every day.

Hope that will help you.

Kind regards,
Otfrid

Betreff: F1, F1 - The scheduler is not running since last night

Dear all,

I am using DB2 8.2 on Windows. We have some procedure scheduled thru Task
Center, the jobs were running fine but since last night no job is running.

When I try to run the job manually it gives the error message -

The scheduler is not active. Reason code "1".

Explanation:

The scheduler was unable to handle the request because the scheduler is not
active for one of the following reasons:

1. The scheduler is not enabled.

2. The scheduler is not configured properly.

I checked the SCHED_ENABLE and it is set to ON.

Kindly help me to resolve this problem.

Any help wud be appreciated.

Thanks and regards
Jitendra
