You probably are not utilizing the DB2INSTANCE parameter correctly. When on
your server, make sure
its set to the new one that you created.

Multiple Instance Error

I have created an additional instance on a server. However, I can create
a database through the Control Center, but when I try to access the
database it tells me:

[IBM][CLI Driver] SQL30061N The database alias or database name
"TEST " was not found at the remote node.
SQLSTATE=08004

When I try to catalog the database on the server or on my client, it tells
me that the database name/alias already exists. I thought that when you
create a database through the control center that it automatically
cataloged it for you. Any suggestions on what I can do to fix this
problem. Thanks.

Matt
