I created the directory for the logpath. I know I have the correct
rights.

RE: Restore Error
If the log path is fine then the user might not have rights to access the
log path.

Does the diag log show you more information that this? Are you sure
that the log path exists?

Subject: Restore Error
While doing a restore of a database backup I received the following
error.
There is not an existing database on the new server. I have the
correct
permissions on the directories also. DB2 v8 FP 10 from DB2 v8 FP 7. I
included logs when running the backup. Any suggestions? Thanks.
Command: db2 restore db eden_db from /home/db2eden/eden_backup/
logtarget /home/db2eden/db2_logs/
Error: SQL2581N Restore is unable to extract log files from
the
backup image to the specified path.
