Greetings,

We recently upgraded our pSeries e-server model 615 to AIX 5.3 and DB2
8.1.

I have a backup of our production DBs taken on AIX 4.X and DB2 7.3.

It seems I can't restore, getting a 2570 error, because the platform has
changed (???!!!)

The manuals suggest that I use the db2move utility, which, however,
appears unable to restore from a backup image, as it uses
export/import/load instead.

Is there a way out??? It never occurred to me that the new platform is
different from the old one, to the point of not being able to do a DB
restore!!! I only expected to do a migrate after the restoring (as a
matter of fact I asked the forum for some help on that last week).
