The db2fmp is the JVM for java fenced udfs and stored procs. Do you have
possible leaks in the SP's ? or
maybe just a continual growth? The db2sysc is the database engine, it may
be large but should be ok
from a growth standpoint.

The aslheapsz is a parm you could look at to reduce the memory for each
fmp, but it sounds like you could
have a leak and maybe should open a pmr.
If you only have a total of 2 GB Ram , take a look at your bufferpools
and reduce the sizes where appropriate.

PLEASE URGENT ANSWER REQUIRED AS THIS IS A PROBLEM EXIST WITH THE
PRODUCTION
SERVER....

We are running the database on db28.1.10

db2syscs.exe and db2fmp.exe is chewing up machine memory. The machine has 2
GB RAM and 124 GB HDD with 100GB free.

What parameters we should set to reduce the memory usauge. And please let
me
know what these processes do ..

And what parameters we should set to kill the un-used the processes so that
server memory will be reduced and it doesn't chew the system...
