after installing v8.2 you must also run db2 "bind db2schema.bnd blocking
all grant public" for each database.

I dropped and recreated the explain tables and ran the db2updv8 command
. but still i see the same error .

All,
We recently migrated our db2 version from 8.1.6 to 8.2 .2 (Fixpak
9a) . today i tried to run the db2expln tool and it failed saying
unexpected error .
