Prior to Fixpak 7, DB2 is known as Version 8.1
Fixpak 7 and higher increase the version number to 8.2 (although the
software install path doesn't change (e.g. /usr/opt/db2_08_01 on AIX)
Therefore, FixPak 7 and higher have 2 version numbers depending on how you
want to refer to them.
In descending release order, the last 5 FixPaks are:
Version 8.2 FixPak 3 (equivalent to Version 8.1 FixPak 10)
Version 8.2 FixPak 2 (equivalent to Version 8.1 FixPak 9)
Version 8.2 FixPak 1 (equivalent to Version 8.1 FixPak 8)
Version 8.2 (Version 8.1 FixPak 7)
Version 8.1 (FixPak 6)
Note that a FixPak number suffixed with a letter (e.g. FixPak 9a) usually
addresses security vulnerabilities. If you have the choice, choose the
latest one to get the latest security patches.

I can see in the IBM Website that fix pack 10 for DB2 V8.1 is Fix Pack 3
for V8.2
