Your trigger and SP are both trying to access the same table. DB2 uses
table access context rules to identify and resolve conflicts. There is good
explanation in DB2 SQL PL Essential Guide 2nd Ed, chapter 9 look for figure
9.30.

Subject: Cursor in Trigger
Hi All,
when I'm tring to open a cursor within a trigger on after deletion, it was
giving a runtime error. Then I've tried to call a separate SP from the
trigger, which should handle the cursor. But till I'm getting the error. In
that case the following error is given. Anyone can help me out?
Information returned for the error includes SQLCODE "-746",
SQLSTATE "57053" and message tokens
"TL.USP_DELETE_TVACC|SQL060119220019726|READ". SQLSTATE=09000
Thanks
Sourav
