AM truncated column alias to 30
characters

hi,

I would like to give some clarity of the context.
I have a java program which forms a dynamic SQL query as part
of the
application.
When I pass the query to db2 to get fired.
I am facing a problem with db2 is truncating the alias name
automatically to 30
which will not match my select clause and the where cluase
causing
an exception leads to application fail.

At first cut I want to check whether any possible way at DB2
level
to solve the problem.
Is there a way to increase the maximum length for Column Alias
Name
in DB2.
I am using 8.2 version

Thanks in advance.
Raghu.
