You gave EXECUET privilege to PROCUSER on what? The procedure being
recompiled or PSMD_SET_COMPILEMODE()?
DB2 is complaining about the later.

Unable to build!!











i have given the execute privelege to the user PROCUSER but for some reason
the user is not able to compile the procedure. are there any other
privileges that i need to give.

the following error is displayed.

EONE.PASSIGN_WORK_INITIAL - Build for debug started.
DROP SPECIFIC PROCEDURE EONE.SQL060322120335572
EONE.PASSIGN_WORK_INITIAL - Drop stored procedure completed.
[IBM][CLI Driver][DB2/NT] SQL0551N "PROCUSER" does not have the privilege
to perform operation "EXECUTE" on object "SYSPROC.PSMD_SET_COMPILEMODE".
SQLSTATE=42501
EONE.PASSIGN_WORK_INITIAL - Build for debug failed.
EONE.PASSIGN_WORK_INITIAL - Roll back completed successfully.
