While this talks about migrating siebel from udb v7 to v8 and there are some
"siebel" steps involved, this was the best "steps for migrating 7 to 8" that
I found. I have used it many times during our database migrations.

The conversion of database from Oracle 9 to DB2 version 8.1 was not that
easy, but still with all the software online, it made my work much
easier.

Now I am converting a database from DB2 version 7 to version 8.1. If any
guys have done this before or has any information of any useful
documentation for the same please let me know.
