In AIX we execute the DBstart script from /etc/rc.local
Maybe something else is going on there?

Hi all,

I 've entered the dbstart script( RedHat Linux) location in the
rc.local inside /etc/rc.d for an auomated startup
but DB not getting started up on boot.
how to go about this & would like to know the
location to enter the dbshut script too.
