Hi Wendry,

The db has to be in mount state and you have to specify the full-path
unless you're using OMF ...

I wonder it myself, since I have tried
ALTER DATABASE CREATE DATAFILE 'MYFILE' AS 'BROKENFILE';

And it end up with sql error stating wrong clause. I use windows2000
with Oracle 9i. Anyone has any idea on where I went wrong?
