Hey, that is a very bad error I must say.

I got my Database crashed last time when I was getting this error. It might
be somewhat small in yr case.

Please take the backup.

It happens sometimes due to networking problems also. But I suggest you to
take backup first.

I was getting this error after I changed the SGA for my instance. Check if
yr backup (Export) is taken properly. I was getting error in that too.

Don get frightened, but this is just a precautions that I want you to take
and not get screwed like me.
