No, but unless you are on the same subnet and the nic speed is 1GB, I wouldn't bother. That file is really too big for most networks to handle without being interrupted, hence the failure you are getting... Use tape if you can...

but is there a restriction on filesize when using ftp ? Im using ftp to
transfer a .dmp file from one NT box to another.
it stops and says transfer complete after 395M even though the file is ~30G.
Does anyone know why this is happening ?
