Sudhakar,
Yes, I think you can. Check into using 'dd' command. It can convert a
'cooked' file to a raw device. You can off line the tablespace, copy the
data file using 'dd' and then rename the old file to the new raw device.
However, I would suggest you test it out with a test database to make sure
you won't need to use any special options of 'dd', such as count (number of
blocks) and input/output blocksizes etc..
