For NT platform
step1: shutdown the database.
step 2:delete the service using oradim
like this way
oradim -DELETE -SID yourdb
step 3: phyiscally remove the datafiles , logfiles and controlfiles and
parameter files.

for UNIX
step 1: shutdown the database
step 2: physically delete all the files.
step 3: remove the listing from oratab
