Hello,

I am doing a database migration. Created a new instance. Did the full
export of the database and imported it into the new instance. I am yet
to deny access to the users to the old instance and ask them to switch to the
new instance. By the time I do it there will be some more updates to the old
instance. How can I sync up the 2 instances....

Have 2 options.
1. Do a cumulative export of the old instance, shutdown the old instance
import the cumulative export in the new instance and have the users connect to the new instance.

2. Do a full backup of the old instance. Shutdown the old instance.
Cleanup the new instance and import the full export in the new instance and have the users conenct to the new instance.

Any better suggestions. If I use option 2 how can I clenup the new instance fully before I import the full database.
