Hello Gurus

I am using SQL Server 2000
Database Size is 3.5 GB
I am taking backup through Maitenance plan..My backup starts and continous upto 3 GB and automatically dissapears..If i look in event log it is saying that Backup Failed. Its not giving the reason for failure. Please help..Please let me know if required more information.
