RE: 8.1.7.0 to 9.2.0.4 upgrade failure

RE: 8.1.7.0 to 9.2.0.4 upgrade failure

Hi Nick ,

What I came through while reading the errors which you were getting is that there are some parameters in init.ora which are not supported in 9i ,
Recently we have done migration from 8.1.7.4 to 9.2.0.5 so some parameter in init.ora we have to be changed.
Could you please send me your init.ora file ,so that I could help you out with the problem which you are facing.

Rohit

Hi folks,

I've got a tar open for this as well, but I'm getting to the stage of having
to abandon this upgrade, so any help appreciated.

Been through all the prelim stuff and get to

startup migrate

... which fails with the following error. Can anyone offer any advice ?

many thanks,

Nick
