A users udump directory????
Do you happen to mean the instances udump directory? AFAIK Oracle always
creates an absolute minimum of trace information regardless of your
settings.

Betreff: too many trace files in UDUMP, what to look for?
guys,
I see many trace files being generated in a user's UDUMP directory. There is
no tracing turned on ( as far as I know). Its a 8.1.7.4 instance on Solaris.
