http://store.oracle.com will have Oracle pricing information, at least
retail prices. You will probably pay less if you buy any sort of volume.
As for "optimal hardware", that really depends on a bunch of factors-- what
OS does your organization use/ understand today? What sort of environment
would you be deploying the application into (RAC, Data Guard, etc)? What
sort of application are you building? There isn't going to be a one size
fits all best hardware combination.
